BEYOND THE BOUNDARIES

BEYOND THE

BOUNDARIES

What if you have a dream that seems destined to remain just that—a dream, never seeing the light of day, even though it fills your every thought? And what if the ones standing in the way are the very people you love the most?

Ever since I was a young boy, people called me a dreamer. My dad’s unwavering love and belief in me gave me the confidence to imagine I could achieve anything! On top of that, I had a vivid imagination that often came to life in my dreams. I would envision things no one else could even consider possible.

When I was just a tween, my dreams were as wild as they were puzzling. I didn’t fully understand what they meant, but I was eager to share them with my family, especially my brothers. However, they didn’t react quite as I’d hoped. Dream 1: I dreamt we were all sheaves of wheat, but mine stood tall while theirs bowed down to it. Dream 2: I saw the sun, the moon, and eleven stars bowing down to me.

Now, these dreams might sound strange, but to me, they felt powerful. But to my brothers, it was almost insulting. They thought I was putting myself above them and suggesting I was somehow better. This misunderstanding sparked resentment that grew over time. What started as irritation soon turned to something deeper, and they came to despise me for those dreams. Eventually, their resentment was so intense that they actually plotted to get rid of me. They even went as far as to plan to kill me, though in the end, they sold me into slavery instead. (Yes, I’m “slavery was legal” old!)

Despite this betrayal, someone had bigger plans for me. When I arrived in a foreign land as a slave, I ended up in the service of a powerful official, a man who, despite my background, saw potential in me. Recognizing my honesty, hard work, and dedication, he gave me responsibilities and a chance to prove myself. Over time, I became a key figure in his country’s government, learning, growing, and refining my skills. Later, that position would place me in a unique position to help my family during a time of crisis, allowing me to use the very gifts I’d been honing all along.

Through all of this, I never lost sight of my purpose, even without the support of my family. They may have mistreated me, but I stayed resilient, worked hard, and carved out a place for myself in a new land. I found people who believed in me, supported me, and recognized my potential.

The lesson? Never give up on your dreams, even if others discourage you or misunderstand you. Believe in yourself, because success truly begins and ends with you. If you’re seeking someone who will stand by you, to help you reach your full potential, you’re in the right place. We’re here to help you believe in yourself and make your dreams a reality.
